Trauma-Informed Yoga Training: Empowering Change Through Movement and Mindfulness
Imagine the impact you could have on someone’s life by sharing the gift of mindfulness and movement. Whether they’re in a wheelchair, behind bars, or struggling with addiction, your presence and knowledge could be the catalyst for their healing journey.
Why This Training Matters:
Communities in jails, shelters, rehab centers, and beyond are crying out for compassionate volunteers. Many of the people you’ll encounter have never had access to mindfulness or movement practices that could significantly improve their emotional and physical well-being. This training will help you step up and be part of the solution.
In this interactive, hands-on training, you’ll learn:
• Simple, effective mindfulness techniques
• Trauma-sensitive movement practices
• The science behind emotional health and the brain
• Strategies for managing classes in challenging environments
No prior experience necessary — just bring your compassion and willingness to serve!
What You’ll Gain:
• Certificate of course completion
• The ability to volunteer in various settings (prisons, rehab centers, shelters, etc.)
• A deeper understanding of complex trauma and healing
• Lifelong skills to support your own well-being
Don’t miss this opportunity to become a beacon of hope for those who need it most.
