Start here · One door into twelve thousand hours
A first week with Swamiji.
Twelve thousand hours is an archive, not a beginning. This is the beginning: a short welcome from Swamiji himself, then one short teaching a day for seven days, drawn from the collection. Three minutes on the first day; under a minute on every day after. By Sunday, you will know whether this teacher is yours.
satsang — sitting together in the company of truth
Free. No account, no email — the recordings play openly. Want to see the whole path first? Read the seven days below.
Seven teachings, set in order.
Chosen from across the decades by the people who keep the collection. The order is the teaching: arrive first, then watch the mind, then meet fear and the hard day, then a practice, then kindness toward yourself — and on the last day, the question of who you are. Nothing is locked — but take them one a day, in sequence. This is not content to get through. It is practice.

Day OneBegin tonight
All these come. All these go.
A short welcome from Swamiji himself — however you found your way here, you have come to the right place — and then forty-eight seconds on the one thing underneath a restless day: the drama arrives, the drama leaves, and something in you was never touched by any of it. Watch it tonight when the mind is loud.

Day Two
Mind you, it’s like a lake
“Mind you, it’s like a lake. And if you calm it down, the sky comes into it. If it is distracted, then fishes and frogs, they become the reality of your life.” Watching the mind rather than fighting it — the gentlest instruction of the week, and the one everything after rests on.

Day Three
The happy tree
“Remain calm even when all things are in turmoil, without being shaken. A tree that allows itself to be shaken by winds, and yet, deeply rooted. That’s called the happy tree.” Not a calm that depends on nothing going wrong.

Day Four
An umbrella you can fold and put away
“It’s like an umbrella you have, you use it, when you walk around and then you come back, fold it, and put it away. Your entire mind can be viewed by you, something distant, to be used.” The mind as an instrument you pick up — not a thing you are stuck inside.

Day Five
That consciousness, you are
“Your consciousness brings out the entire story of your life… And yet does not bear real weight about it. It’s not scarred, injured, or hurt, or in any way affected. So that consciousness you are.”
From You Are the Ocean, Not the Wavethe opening 35 seconds
Watch Day Five -
Day Six
Don’t ask how long
“All these great qualities will come progressively. Don’t think of it to attain it within a day or two. But even if it takes long, every degree of this progress is so delightful to your heart. The question, how long it will take, that never bothers him.” Kindness toward yourself, on the day the week starts to feel like work.

Day Seven
No scratch in the sky
“No matter how you have suffered, how much you have suffered, the reality in you is pure consciousness… pure consciousness shines forth untarnished when all the clouds and winds and storms move away. No scratch in the sky.” The week ends where the teaching points.
From Your Consciousness Is the Untouched Skythe opening 53 seconds
Watch Day Seven
Each entry above names the lecture it is drawn from, and exactly how much of it you are given. Six of the seven begin at the very start of the recording; none is spliced together from separate moments. The picture is soft; the sound is honest. Nothing here was edited to hold your attention.
Three small instructions.
The week asks very little. What it asks, it asks precisely.
One a day. Don't binge.
The teachings are short enough to watch in one sitting — and that would waste them. A day between lectures is where the practice happens. This is not a series to finish; it is a week to keep.
Watch when the mind is loud.
Before bed, or early morning — whenever your own mind is least willing to be quiet. A teaching lands deepest exactly where it is needed.
Let the order carry you.
Nothing is gated and nothing expires — but the sequence was set deliberately, the way a teacher orders a course. If you begin at Day One, each teaching prepares the ground for the next.
By Sunday, you will know.
This week has a real end. Seven teachings are enough to answer the only question that matters at the door: is this teacher yours? Either answer is a good outcome, and we mean that.
If the answer is yes —
the archive is open, and the teaching continues — Swamiji, at ninety-five, still teaches daily. Each evening at 7:30 Eastern, a recorded teaching from the archive premieres on YouTube — a shared watch, drawn from the collection.
If the answer is no —
then you gave a serious teaching a serious week, and that is more than most ever do. The archive stays where it is — free, whole, and unhurried. It does not expire, and neither does the welcome.
A short welcome from Swamiji, then his teaching on a fresh start.
