Support · Keep it open

The archive is free. People who give keep it that way.

No lecture on this site is behind a paywall, and none will be. Digitizing, cataloguing, and streaming twelve thousand hours of teaching is slow, careful work — and the Foundation is a nonprofit. Since 1969, that work has been carried by the people who value it.

Why it matters

One gift, given plainly.

Choose a sum, once or monthly. There are no tiers to compare and nothing to unlock — the recorded archive is free for everyone, including those who never give.

A gift carries the slow work of preservation and cataloguing described below, and it keeps the collection online without advertising.

A gift to the Foundation

Give today

How often

A monthly gift is the steadiest way to carry the work. Change or stop it whenever you wish.

How much

The Yoga Research Foundation is a nonprofit organization; gifts are tax-deductible to the extent the law allows. You will receive a receipt by email.

Where it goes

What a gift carries.

The archive did not survive six decades by accident. Three kinds of slow work keep it — and a gift, of any size, is what pays for them.

Preserving

Reel-to-reel masters, cassettes, and film — some older than the people digitizing them — are transferred, restored, and kept in archival form before time takes them.

12,708 hours · six decades of media formats

Cataloguing

Every recording is set down with its date, its place, and its source text, so a seeker can be handed one right door instead of a wall of seventeen thousand recordings.

Provenance on every entry — the Foundation's standard

Keeping it open

Hosting and streaming the recorded archive, offered free and without advertising — plus the evening premiere from the collection, at 7:30 Eastern, every night.

Every lecture free · no paywall, now or later

The understanding

Giving unlocks nothing. That is the point.

The teachings were given freely, and the Foundation passes them on the same way. A gift is not a purchase — it is a hand under the work. Whoever you are, whatever you give or don't, the archive is yours to study.

A quiet note: the Foundation is preparing a members' room for deeper study — the plans so far are public, though nothing is open yet. The free archive above needs no membership.

If you prefer to give another way

Checks may be mailed to the Foundation at Yoga Research Foundation, 6111 SW 74th Avenue, South Miami, Florida 33143.

For anything else — a gift of securities, a bequest, or a question about giving — write to the Foundation and a person will answer.
